THE Heart of Devon Festival will be held at Bow Village Hall and Field on Saturday, June 18 from 2pm to 10.30pm. A family friendly festival, now in its seventh year, is arguably one of the best free days out in the area. There are two stages of live bands and musicians to suit all tastes. This year’s line up includes “The Wildflowers”, a band who are receiving amazing revues and radio airplay; renowned Irish folk singers the “FOS Brothers”; 1930’s/40’s swing band “Hot Club of Stonehouse”; a touch of the sixties with “The Honey Pot”; plus “The Strange and the Beautiful”, “Harbottle and Jonas”, “Sitting Pretty”, David Treadaway and “The Morales”.

The evening will end with an energetic performance from punk gypsy band “Buffo’s Wake” (not for the very young or faint-hearted). Other attractions include vintage vehicles, craft stalls, children’s area, zorb football, hog roast and various food stalls. For more information and the latest news visit: www.theheartofdevon.co.uk .
