TWO University of Reading students rode through Crediton recently. What was unusual was that they were doing a 1,000 mile charity ride on unicycles.
Adam Cass and Maxwell Parfitt are both members of the Reading University Circus Skills Society. They were riding from Lands End to John O'Groats. Max was raising funds for the Jubilee Sailing Trust, a registered charity that owns and operates the Lord Nelson and Tenacious, the only two tall ships designed and built so that people of all physical abilities can sail together as equals.
Adam was cycling for Women's Aid, helping women and children who have been harmed by domestic violence. Find out more on http://www.tour2009.co.uk">www.tour2009.co.uk .
