A DROP-IN session was held at Crediton Library entitled "Local People Growing Local Food, where members of Upstream, the Women's Environmental Network and the gardening club from Hayward's school shared their gardening experiences.

Members of Hayward's garden club visited the Upstream Allotment at Barnfield last year, when the Upstream gardeners talked about their progress and what they were growing.

In exchange, pupils accompanied by Yvonne Crone, who runs the gardening club at Hayward's, were invited to Crediton Library to talk about the progress in the school garden.
