NUALA, a Year 8 pupil, has just completed her Book Track at Crediton Library and received her certificate and gold badge.

She read 100 books to complete the Library challenge.

Some of her favourite books along her journey were “Dragonfly Pool” and “Journey to the River Sea”, both by Eva Ibbotson, and “The Girl of Ink and Stars” by Kiran Millwood Hargrave.

Nuala loves sailing, swimming, sport, music and of course reading!

Children who would like to take part in the children’s reading challenge are invited to go along to Crediton Library and sign up for the newly-designed “The Secret Book Quest”.

Children take part for free and receive a Secret Book Quest booklet when they join.

They read 50 books of their own choice from the library, collecting stickers and certificates along the way.
