NINE members of North Tawton Twinning group travelled to Blangy Le Chateau, in Normandy to enjoy a recent weekend break.
They travelled overnight via ferry from Plymouth to Roscoff and then drove via the lovely medieval town of Dinan.
The group members were hosted and entertained by their friends in Blangy, with visits to a Cheese Show in Pont L’Eveque and Bayeux, including viewing the famous Tapestry.
Members also enjoyed lavish meals, a barbecue and a "little sampling" of the local cider, wine and Calvados.
Returning to Roscoff via Mont St Michel, a good time was had by all.
North Tawton members hope to repay their hospitality when the French group visit North Tawton next year.
