THERE has been praise for CODS and Julian Stoneman following the success of its relaxed “in conversation” on-line interviews of celebrities from the entertainment industry which are being held on a weekly basis.

The first “A Chance To Meet” was with Kim Gavin, the Award winning British choreographer, director and former Royal Ballet dancer.

The second was with professional stage actress and performer Danielle Steers, followed by Jon Bausor, the multi award winning international stage designer and creative director.

Earlier this week world famous lighting designer Patrick Woodroffe took part in the “in conversation”.

Next up on December 7 is Olivier Award double nominee Adam Garcia.

The Australian stage, television and film actor is best known for his roles in musicals such as Saturday Night Fever and Kiss me Kate. Adam is also one of the world’s best tap dancers and is known to film lovers as the lead in Coyote Ugly.

On December 14 the guest will be Arlene Phillips , award winning choreographer, theatre director, talent scout, television judge and presenter, and former dancer.

She was director and choreographer of Hot Gossip and Choreographer for the 2002 Commonwealth Games opening and closing ceremonies.

The hour-long “in conversations” are held on Monday evenings at 7.30pm.

Some of those who listened in and asked questions have said how much they have enjoyed the events and said they hoped to listen in on future discussions where Julian Stoneman interviews some of his friends in the entertainment industry about their lives and how they started out in theatre, tv and film.

There are a wide variety of famous and award winning guests on the list – theatre and film stars, creative directors and lighting designers, set and costume designers, choreographers and producers – so there is something for everyone interested in this sector.
