ONE of the action points which came out of the Newton St Cyres Parish Plan was that better provision should be made for the leisure time of the young people of the parish.

After consultations/discussions, it was felt that an Open Meeting should be called for all the young people in the parish, between the ages of 10 and 15 years, to see what their ideas and requirements are and how they would like to see a Youth Club run.

It is therefore intended to call an open meeting on Wednesday, September 30 at 7.30pm in the Parish Hall. The information will be circulated in the Primary School and in QECC, Crediton.

It is imperative, for this to be successful, that there are one or two committed adults to assist. If there are any adults in the village who would like to be involved, please would they contact me on 01392 851752 or email: [email protected]">[email protected] .
