GREAT Western Railway, the major provider of train services in the west of England has revised its timetables that will take effect from this coming Monday, September 12.
Copies of the new timetables are available at Crediton Library, all manned railway stations and online via the GWR website. Copies are also available to view at the Crediton Courier offices.
Local services on the Tarka Line (Exeter to Barnstaple) are unaltered but the Sunday service operating between Exeter and Okehampton will end for this year on Sunday (September 11).
These revised timetables will operate until December 10 when the winter timetable will take effect.
As with all train travel, essential engineering work takes place most weekends and bank holidays and GWR is in the process of major engineering projects over much of its system. So, always check before you travel and where possible reserve a seat.
