WHAT is going on at Lords Meadow with the introduction of customer only parking in both car parks - does Mid Devon District Council (MDDC) want to kill Crediton?

The amount of rates that firms pay goes into the piggy bank at Tiverton, but that is not enough they seem to want to kill the town.

They only think about Tiverton.

Do they sit down and think - no? Do they care about Crediton - no.

I am a life member of Crediton AFC and have been with the club for 56 years. I am told that if you get a parking fine you write a letter to get off.

MDDC must have got a lot of time on their hands as we have first and second teams, veterans and about 300 youth players with mums and dads for transport.

I don’t suppose any one in the MDDC office bothered to do any homework so chaos on the surrounding roads will prevail.

The people who passed this should hang their heads in SHAME.
