DUE to its overwhelming success, RGB Building Supplies has relaunced its Community Fund for a third year, but this time the local community will be given the opportunity to decide who receives £1,000 worth of building materials.
Having made donations to a youth group, animal welfare centre, charity that supports the homeless, a martial arts centre and an outdoor project in the last year alone, RGB is asking for different deserving groups to get in contact and explain how a donation of building materials would help.
To relaunch the fund, the first donation will be made to a group or project that aims to recognise the rich heritage of the local area, but this time the way the winning group is chosen is changing.
From all the nominations received, three groups will be selected as finalists, then the local community will be asked to vote for who they would like to receive the building materials.
Locally voting can be done by visiting the Crediton branch at Fordton Trading Estate, by email or via Facebook.
Groups that work to preserve or recognise local history can nominate themselves by explaining how £1,000 worth of building materials could be of help.
Nominations can be made by email: [email protected] or by post to RGB Community Fund, c/o PMW Communications, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon, EX39 9DU.
The closing date for nominations is Monday, May 2.
For full terms and conditions, please visit: www.rgbltd.co.uk/Community .
RGB will be giving away £1,000 worth of building materials every other month until March 2017. Further call outs will be made to village halls, amateur theatre groups, schools that support children with a disability, the scouting movement and local libraries inviting them to nominate.
