A NEW Skills and Training Programme has been launched for the voluntary and community groups of Mid Devon.

It is available through Involve, which supports voluntary action in Mid Devon, and has been made possible with support from the National Lottery.

Mark Bailey, Involve’s Development Officer: “We are very pleased to announce our new National Lottery funded learning programme for voluntary and community groups across Mid Devon.

“Involve has a long and successful record of delivering training courses and networking opportunities specifically for the voluntary sector.

“This new programme directly responds to the needs of local communities by offering a comprehensive range of skills building opportunities in a variety of locations across Mid Devon.”

There are a range of courses on offer.

Mark said: “Is your group ready for the new data protection regulations? Do you need first aid training? Want to join other groups and look at adult safeguarding issues with Devon County Council’s adviser responsible for Adult Safeguarding Training? Need some funding help? Looking to make the most of social media?

“These are some of the courses we have available.”
