THE Lions Club of Crediton has a new President.

Tony Fitzwalter, who has completed a busy, successful year, has handed the reins over to Eric Parkes.

Eric explained that this was the sixth time he has taken over the role and become president.

He was one of the founder members of the club, which is now in its 32nd year.

The club meets every second Tuesday at 7.45pm at Il Casita, Crediton.

New members, ladies or gentlemen, are invited to join and can find out more by contacting Eric on 01363 82878.

Peter Bryan remains as treasurer and Beryl Fitzwalter is the new secretary.
