IF you listened carefully at two
locations in Crediton last weekend you would have heard the musical refrain of “Congratulations” and the “Anniversary Waltz”.

Both pieces were being played by a musical ensemble of Crediton Town Band to two ex-playing members of the band who celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversaries, Bob Cocking and his wife Hillary and Pauline and Ted Staite.

Pauline was the ex-playing member and for a number of years Ted was a Band President.
