THIS weekend (Saturday 19 and Sunday 20) will see the first of hopefully many fundraising events undertaken by Rob Blinkhorn, starting with a motorcycle show at Poltimore House, Exeter.

Since the demise of Westpoint Motorcycle Show and the disappearance of the Sandford Bike Meet and Show this year, Rob has seized on the opportunity to host his own event.

Rob is the founder his own magazine, MAM, which has been in publication since 2007.  He suffered a head injury during a hit and run accident in 1994 which changed his life, but he has tried to give something back through charity work over the years.

The magazine, Madaboutmotorcycles is sold in local newsagents and now a lot motorcyclists know of Rob through 10 years of publishing.

Rob would like to thank the staff at Poltimore House who have been very supportive to allow him to use this amazing venue, special thanks to Keith Weedon, Trustee for al the help support.

He’d like to extend his thanks to all the local sponsors, bands and all those helped make this show possible.

Exeter Falcons speedway team are special guests at the show and will have a dedicated stand where the exceptional motorbikes can be seen.

There will be traders and music from 10am until 4pm, food by Mike Welsh and plenty of bikes on show.

Entry is £3 per person or £5 for bike and pillion.
