A GROUP of volunteers from Crediton Town Council’s Open Spaces Working Group worked hard on a sunny Saturday morning to tidy up People’s Park Wildlife Garden in Crediton.

Yvonne Crone, Kendra Ezekiel, Esther Mann and Bob Mckelliget removed weeds that had grown to several feet high and were overtaking the garden - quite a task for such a small group of volunteers!

As the wildlife garden area matures many of the plants are now finding their own niche and thriving.

The group usually meet on a Saturday (date of next session to be confirmed) from 10am to 1pm and are looking for volunteers to help keep the gardens tidy and the weeds under control.
