THE fantastic amount of £1,220.98p, was raised by Sandford Scouts, Cubs and Beavers at their recent Jumble Sale in Sandford Parish Hall on Saturday, April 2.

Lizzie Salisbury, on behalf Sandford Scouts, Cubs and Beavers, said: “A massive Thank You to everyone who came and supported us and helped at our jumble, including parents, grandparents and Leaders.

“The children worked very hard making things to sell on the day, including some yummy cookies!

“The Scout Section also raised an additional £150 towards the DEC Ukrainian Refugee Appeal, with their Donation Buckets.

“They had made some lovely colourful Blue and Yellow Bracelets and Jazzy Jars too.

“We also celebrated some history at Sandford Scouts, Cubs and Beavers.

“One of our loyal stalwart supporters over many years, Margaret Phillips, presented Steve Haley, our Chair with her First Sandford Scout Secretary Badge, from 1955.

“It will be hung up in our Scout Hut as it should be!  Thank You, Margaret.

“It was a fun day for everyone and Thank You all for being part of that day.”
