A NEW shop which has opened in Crediton High Street specialises in mobile telephones, top-ups and accessories.

Get Connected says it is: "delighted to have finally cut through all the council red tape to open the doors of its shop in Crediton".

A spokesman told the Courier: "We have opened over 70 stores and this one has to rate as one of, if not the best, store opening we have held.

"The local people were warm and friendly and seemed genuinely pleased to have their own phone shop once again.

"Get Connected chose Crediton due to its excellent Orange coverage and the fact that it also sits nicely between our other stores in Wellington, Tiverton and Bideford."

Crediton had a telephone sales shop until just a few months ago.

The Crediton Get Connected shop is able to offer mobile telephone contracts, top-ups, telephone sales and accessories. It also has car chargers, mains chargers as well as fittings for Bluetooth use and car accessories.

The shop specialises in the Orange and Vodaphone networks.

The Crediton store manager is James Wood.

Get Connected say they are looking to open more stores in Devon, Somerset and Cornwall in 2011.
