Mid Devon's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

M5, from 8pm March 24 to 6am March 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 29 to junction 28 carriageway closed for carriageway reconstruction/renew works. Diversion via B3181.

M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.

And one more closure will begin over the next two weeks:

M5, from 8pm March 25 to 6am March 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 27 to 26 closed for carriageway repairs. Diversion via A38 to junction 26.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
