Mid Devon's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.

And a further six closures will begin over the next seven days:

M5, from 8pm May 22 to 6am May 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 Both Directions, junction 26 to junction 28 lane closures for carriageway repair.

M5, from 9pm May 24 to 6am May 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 Both Directions, junction 27 to junction 28 lane closure for barrier repair.

A30, from 8pm May 31 to 6am June 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A30 westbound, Cheriton Cross to Whiddon Down mobile lane closures for inspections.

M5, from 10pm May 31 to 6am June 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 27 entry slip road - carriageway closure for electrical works, diversion via M5 southbound, exit, junction 28 to turn and join M5 northbound.

A30, from midnight, to 6am on June 1, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A30 westbound, Whiddon Down entry slip road carriageway closure for inspections, diversion via A30 eastbound to Woodleigh and return.

A30, from 8pm June 5 to 6am June 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Whiddon Down to Cheriton Cross carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via Hask Lane to Cheriton Cross.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
