Mid Devon's motorists will have 10 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.
And a further nine closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 8pm September 1 to 6am September 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 28 to junction 29 lane closure for carriageway renewal works.
• M5, from 9pm September 3 to 6am September 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 28 to junction 27 lane closure for electorial works.
• M5, from 8pm September 4 to 4am September 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 26 to junction 28 - lane closure for signs - maintenance.
• A30, from 7pm September 8 to 6am September 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Woodleigh entry slip road closure for carriageway resurfacing, diversion westbound to Whiddon Down and back.
• M5, from 8pm September 10 to 6am September 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 27 to junction 28, carriageway closure for carriageway reconstruction / renewal work, diversion via A38, B3181, Five Bridges, Millennium Way and rejoin at, junction 28 M5.
• M5, from 8pm September 11 to 4am September 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 28 exit slip - lane closure for electrical works.
• M5, from 7pm September 15 to 6am November 11, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 28 to 29 carriageway closure for resurfacing, diversion via B3181 and B3212 to junction 29.
• M5, from 9pm September 15 to 6am September 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 28 to junction 29 - lane closure for electrical works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
