MID Devon District Council’s Scrutiny committee has resolved that Crediton Town Council should be given an opportunity to make an increased offer to buy the Council Offices in Market Street, Crediton Mayor and Mid Devon District Councillor Frank Letch has confirmed.

Mr Letch said that he and the Town Clerk were now working on re-negotiating a new bid and a final decision will be taken by Mid Devon District Council’s Cabinet.
