MEMBERS of The Turning Tides Project in Crediton ran a stall in the foyer of the town’s Tesco store at Wellparks, where they sold a range of handmade items to shoppers including chutneys woollen items and calendars.

Turning Tides, a non-profit making organisation, believe that everyone has the right of equal access to music, the arts and life - the aim is to make this a reality for people with "learning disability" or "autism" labels in Devon.

The Project recently took over the running of Crediton Station Tea Rooms, as an extension of this philosophy; an #Inclusive environment where you can relax, be a part of their community, book training space, volunteer, get work experience, read a book, drink tea and be welcome.
