LANDSCORE Primary School held a Mock Wedding at Crediton Congregational Church, on Wednesday, July 12, organised by teacher, Mrs Williamson.

Children from Team One at the school took part in the Mock Wedding where Megan and Ethan were declared "good friends" during the ceremony which was part of this term’s "Happy Ever After" theme.

The children dressed in wedding attire for the event which they and their parents/guardians attended.

On arrival they listened to music by Milla and Tim Herniman.

The ceremony was conducted by the Rev James Gregory who welcomed everyone to the church and explained that the bride and groom, Megan and Ethan, would not be making proper vows but celebrating friendship instead.

Songs including I’m a Believer by the Monkees and I Do, I Do, I Do by Abba.

There were readings and poems as well as vows, which were written by the children during RE lessons.

A Mock Reception was held afterwards in the Karis Hall at the church where the children took part in a simple Waltz which they had learned for the event.

A wedding cake was made by Yvonne Jones and decorated by her daughter Debbie Jones.

It was the second time Landscore Primary School has held a Mock Wedding, the previous event was held at Crediton Parish Church.
