SANDFORD fundraiser, Margaret Phillips, has again knitted hundreds of Christmas puddings to raise funds for the Breast Care Unit at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital) at Wonford.

Margaret, from Sandford said: "Each pudding takes me about 30 minutes to make and contains a hidden ’Ferrero Rocher’ chocolate.

The puddings are on sale in Crediton at Valerie Barker Jewellers and Stevie B’s Bakery. They can also be purchased in Sandford at The Rose & Crown, the Lamb Inn, Sandford Community Stores and St Swithun’s Church.

The price for each pudding is either £2 or a donation.

Margaret has knitted the Christmas puddings for the last five years and likes to take the proceeds into the hospital in person.

She has also taken 50 puddings to FORCE for the cancer charity to sell.
