SANDFORD fundraiser Margaret Phillips has been busy knitting hundreds of Christmas puddings again this year to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Care unit at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

Margaret, who has knitted the Christmas puddings for the last six years, explained that each pudding takes her about 30 minutes to knit and contains a “Ferrero Rocher” chocolate.

The puddings are on sale in Crediton at Valerie Barker Jeweller’s, Stevie B’s Bakery, Candimama, and Crediton Card Centre.

In Sandford they are available at Sandford Community Stores, The Rose and Crown, The Lamb Inn and Meadowside Garage.

The price for each pudding is either £2 - or a welcome donation.
