KEEN knitter, Margaret Phil- lips, from Sandford has knitted more than 300 Christmas Puddings to raise funds for the Breast Care Unit at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital) at Wonford.

Each pudding takes Margaret about 30 minutes to make and contains a hidden Ferrero Rocher chocolate.

The puddings are on sale at St Swithun’s Church, Sandford, The Lamb Inn, the Rose and Crown and Sandford Community Stores.

In Crediton the puddings can be bought at Valerie Barker Jewellers, Stevie B’s Bakery and East Town Cafe.

The price for each pudding is either £2 or a donation.

Margaret has knitted the Christmas puddings for the last three years and likes to take the proceeds into the hospital in person.
