COPPLESTONE Methodist Church volunteers, young and not so young, washed about 30 cars in the Church car park to raise funds for BBC Children in Need on Saturday, November 15.

In the Church Community Room, the café served lots of hot drinks, with a wonderful array of homemade cakes.

Children could enjoy some Pudsey themed activities, decorate cakes, take part in a quiz, Guess the Weight of the Cake and Guess the Number of Sweets in a jar.
