A CREDITON woman, well-known for her charity fundraising, is to have her hair cut in aid of a number of charities.

Mandy Rowe has been growing her hair for some weeks and her locks will be cut on Friday, October 5.

Mandy hopes to donate her cut hair to the charity, Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for children who have undergone chemotherapy.

To raise funds, Mandy is asking friends and family for donations to Hospiscare and ELF, two charities which have supported her family in times past, and also another charity which she is yet to name.

Donations can be left at the offices of the “Crediton Courier” at 102 High Street, Crediton.

Mandy has also been running a Name the Dog competition to raise funds.
