A MAN is in custody after he was arrested on suspicion of the murder of a woman in Okehampton.
Police and the South West Ambulance Service were called to a house in Wonnacott’s Road, Okehampton in the early hours of this morning, Saturday, May 15, where a 60-year-old female occupant was pronounced dead.
The full circumstances of her death are unclear but the Police are currently treating it as suspicious at this time.
The man, aged 64 years, who is believed to be known to the victim, is currently in Police custody after being arrested on suspicion of her murder.
