SPREYTON Good Companions held a ham salad lunch in aid of Hospiscare which was organised by Hilary Elston and attended by 24 guests, including Gay Hill, Clinical Nurse Specialist.

The lunch was followed by apple crumble (made by Hilary) and clotted cream, cheese and biscuits and tea and coffee which everyone enjoyed.

A raffle was also held. A total of £195 was made from the afternoon and Cleave Collins made the proceeds up to £250 - a very kind gesture.

The ham was donated by Roger and Carol from the Tom Cobley, again a very kind gesture.

A lovely meal, everyone went away full and happy.
