A MOTORIST had a lucky escape during the night of Friday, April 13, after he rolled his car onto its roof between Cowley and Langford Road, Newton St Cyres, on the A377.

Detective Constable Copper, from Devon and Cornwall Police, took to “Twitter” after attending the incident and included photographs of the vehicle on its roof.

He wrote: “This used to be a Vauxhall Corsa. They’re not made to be driven on their roof. They also can’t drive too fast round a corner and up a mud bank.

“The driver miraculously walked away from this RTC near Cowley Bridge last night with no injuries.”
