THORNES Farm Shop held their first ever Strawberry Fayre on Sunday, August 5 with plenty for everyone to see and do.

There were lots of lovely local craft stalls in the big shed and people wore fancy dress. A homemade strawberry jam competition was held and there was a jam-making demonstration. Even the strawberry jam sandwich eating race went down a treat.

Live music was provided by Anna-Marie Waite and Mark Taylor.

The strawberry fields were buzzing with folk from all over the county who all enjoyed Thornes "yummy" strawberries. A great day was had by all!
