CONSERVATIVE Central Devon MP Sir Mel Stride has visited Queen Elizabeth’s School in Crediton to meet with staff and students and discuss the school’s future plans.

Sir Mel toured College House, heard about the school’s vision for a one-site solution, and met musical theatre students currently preparing for an upcoming production of Jesus Christ Superstar.

The visit also provided an opportunity to recognise the school’s strong GCSE and post-16 results in the last academic year.

“It was a pleasure to return to Queen Elizabeth’s School and see the ambition and talent of its students,” said Sir Mel.

“I was grateful for the opportunity to hear about the school’s future plans and to hear about their ambition for equally excellent results this year.”
