AVID reader, Lily Harries (6) has been awarded a certificate for reading 50 books on the Secret Book Quest challenge at Crediton Library.

The Secret Book Quest is a new reading challenge which involves reading a set number of books to collect all the stickers, decipher the code, and win a special prize.

Lily’s favourite books are “Jack and the Beanstalk” and “The Big Bath Band” both from the Superphonics series by author Gill Munton.

Lily has a good sense of humour and enjoys reading funny books.

She is a pupil at Newton St Cyres Primary School where her favourite subjects are English and Maths.

In her spare time Lily enjoys playing touch rugby with Plymouth Albion Youth and non-competitive football for Crediton Youth Wildcats.

Lily has now started reading books towards her next Secret Book Quest target of 100 books.
