MANY thanks to staff at the Bike Shed, Crediton for the emergency repairs they carried out to my son’s bicycle who on July 30 was two days into the Lands End to John o’Groats (LEJOG) cycle.

Approaching Yeoford with a planned second day overnight stay in Crediton the bottom bracket broke rendering the bike out of action.

Following a visit to the Bike Shed for advice I collected son and bike and delivered both to the Bike Shed to see what could be done to repair the bike.

The immediate service and repairs carried out were first class and within an hour or so the bike was roadworthy again. Words do not adequately express the gratitude to the staff for what they did.

A sign over the door should read: “The difficult we do immediately; the impossible takes a little longer".

He completed the cycle at 1.30pm hours on August 11.
