I HAVE been involved in Sandford Millennium Green and Path right from the start, almost 30 years ago.
I've continued doing voluntary work on the Green and serving on the committee all this time, but now aged 84 and with health problems catching up with me, my husband and I have decided to sell up and move to live with our daughter in St Lucia.
As a last contribution to the ongoing maintenance of the Green I have been packing up all sorts of things from our house to go into an auction.

This will take place at Sandford Parish Hall on Saturday, May 24.
Viewing will be from 1pm and the auction will start at 2pm.
There are 49 lots for the auction and Steve McCulloch will be the auctioneer.

Among the lots are furniture, vintage photographs, artworks and paintings, ornaments, bowls, vases, book collections such as birds, cricket and poetry books.
Other items include jewellery, kitchen items and much more.
Paper copies of the catalogue are available in Sandford Stores.
