ON August 13 voters in Clacton will be able to choose between Nigel Farage and the main contender: that doyen of the 'establishment' Count Binface. So, is it worth asking a few questions about this Binface?
Has he refused to stand as an MP unless he is given £5million?
Has he accepted the same £5m from a crypto billionaire, refused to declare it, and lobbied the Governor of the Bank of England on measures which would help the donor?
Has he accepted financial support from a crypto entrepreneur and convicted fraudster, and not declared it?
Is he proposing to give tax breaks to the wealthy on their private health insurance, allowing them to jump NHS queues?
Will he give tax breaks to those rich enough to send their children to private schools?
Is he going to reintroduce the two-child benefit cap, throwing 450,000 children into poverty?
As we sweltered through the third heatwave of the year, it was estimated that in May and June alone there were 2,700 excess deaths. Has Binface called Climate Change a 'scam'? Is he threatening to scrap the Climate Change Act?
When the Crown Prosecution Service say Andrew Tate faces multiple charges including rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking, controlling prostitution for gain, and child pornography, has Binface said Tate was an 'important voice' for the 'emasculated', giving boys 'perhaps a bit of confidence at school'?
Does he hero-worship Donald Trump? Has he said 'I have never ever waivered in thinking that...this man (Trump) was a good thing, not just for America but actually for peace in the world.' 'I am proud to call him a friend'?
Has he said; '(Trump) is, by instinct, a peacemaker'? Has he said about Trump boasting about groping women: 'I just saw this whole thing as sort of, an extreme form of alpha-male boasting'?
Has he blamed NATO for provoking Russia to invade Ukraine? Has he said Putin was the world leader he 'admired the most'?
It seems the answer is 'NO' to all these questions, so it rather looks like this Binface is worth voting for.
