I AM writing to express my thanks on behalf of myself and my husband and also, I hope of a great number of people to the Organisers of the Commemoration Service to our Late Queen at 6pm on September 18 at Crediton Parish Church.

I found it very moving with its simplicity and the cover joining up of all factions.

I thank you and would like to add a special thanks to the wonderful bellringers who welcomed us with that full ring of bells.

I wonder, do people realise how long they had been ringing all day but I know that Crediton will never hear those bells ringing like that ever again.

Thank you all for your energy and dedication and the Clergy of our wonderful Parish Church.
