YOUR reports during recent weeks, and dating back to last year, seem to catalogue the perpetration of a gross injustice to the people of Crediton.
Is this a case of the larger community of Tiverton having the muscle to get its own way?
Is it a case of the local politicians of a particular hue taking care not to show any favour to a community which has voted alternatively?
To sell the offices in the larger community at a favourable discount to that Town Council but to refuse to make a similar offer to the smaller community seems blatantly unfair.
Are there grounds for referring the decision to the Local Government Ombudsman or seeking a Judicial Review of the decision of Mid Devon District Council before it is implemented?

• Editor’s note: As I understand it, the Town Council doesn’t have the ability to do this however, if residents feel that they have been disadvantaged by MDDC’s actions then they could.
