Letter: Disappointment at Mid Devon District Council action

SUSTAINABLE Crediton would like to express its disappointment at the Mid Devon District Council action in removing Councillor Elizabeth Wainwright from the Mid Devon District Council Cabinet and scrapping her Climate Change portfolio.

We would like to thank her for the hard work she has put in, especially on Climate Change issues and hope that she will be able to continue her work in this area.

We appreciate that Elizabeth has worked hard to connect with community views about Climate Change.

Her commitment to listening to constituents and colleagues, which has apparently been the cause of her dismissal from cabinet, is much valued by us.
