THERE will be a chance to learn Indian Dance at the 4th Crediton Diversity Festival, which will take place in Crediton Town Square on Saturday, July 9.

Avtar Singh will lead two sessions and everyone will be invited to join in.

There will also be information and advice stalls, music and talks, and the event will run from 10am to 2pm.

Other activities and stalls include: Crediton Foodbank, Crediton Parish Church, Crediton Methodist Church, Exeter City FC target football for children, LibDems, Crediton Courier, Crediton Lions Club, CISCO (Crediton International Social Cultural Organisation), Devon County Council Public Health Outreach Covid vaccination provision, Welcoming Refugees in Crediton, The Turning Tides Project, Exeter Pride, We Support Ukraine, Crediton Arts Centre, Citizens Advice, Mid Devon Mobility, Crediton Town Council, Crediton Heart Project, Crediton Police, Inclusive Exeter and many more.

The groups come from across the wide diverse community.

The Festival will be officially opened by the Chairman of Devon County Council, Cllr Ian Hall.

His theme this year is “diversity, equality and inclusion”.

Admission is free-of-charge and the event will be family-friendly.

The musical programme has been co-ordinated by Crediton Arts Centre.

The Festival is being supported by Crediton Town Council, the Crediton Courier, Morrisons, Crediton Arts Centre and Devon County Council.
