I AM happy to report that after the sad incident on Monday, November 10, the Town and Hamlets War Memorial is looking lovely, with all the damaged wreaths replaced. When I checked on Tuesday I found several extra memorials, bouquets and wreaths and others in the form of crosses and hanging arrangements that looked really nice. It told me that people do care and that the sacrifice these men made will never be forgotten. We do not know who placed these latest memorials, but they look absolutely great.
