RESIDENTS in Crediton have until Friday, December 15, to take advantage of the First Crediton Scouts postal service.

Post boxes and stamps, priced at 25p each, are located at the “Crediton Courier” office, Landscore Stores, Bradleys estate agents, Mole Avon Town and Countrywear, Treloars Delicatessen, Crediton Community Transport (upstairs at Crediton Town Council office), Market Street, the Community Hall at Clifford Gardens and at Lewis’s DAR on Lords Meadow Industrial Estate.

No outlying villages are included in the delivery area.

After December 15 all the cards will be collected and posted by the Scouts and Leaders.

Last year the Scout postal service was declared a big success, raising £245.90 for much-needed funds from more than 1,000 cards delivered.
