LANDSCORE Primary School in Crediton has launched an online fundraising campaign for the refurbishment of its playground.

The equipment which was installed more than 15 years ago has reached the end of its life and the school wants to replace it with a new play experience for not only its pupils, but also the wider community.

The school grounds are open to the public outside of school hours and are well used by families at weekends and in the holidays.

The pupils and their families have been working hard raising funds through a range of sponsored events and wear what you like days, but now the school is turning to the wider community for support.

Debbie Main, Headteacher, said: “We are working really hard to fundraise for our new equipment, we have undertaken sponsored bounces and Santa runs, and we are looking at grant funding opportunities, but we hope that the community of Crediton may be able to help us too.”
