A TOTAL of 22 pupils from Year 6 at Landscore Primary School spent the last afternoon of term spreading the Christmas spirit around Crediton.

Walking into the centre of town from the school, the children sang carols at the Co-op and to shoppers on the High Street.

The children wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas but also wanted to show their gratitude to the Co-op and it’s shoppers for raising more than £1,200 earlier this year through the Local Community Fund.

Everyone really enjoyed themselves and it was great way to finish off the term.
