THE Farming Community Network “Lammas Sunday” service, offering the first fruits of harvest, will take place at the Church of St Michael the Archangel, Chagford, beginning at 3pm on Sunday, August 7.

Farmers, friends and all are invited to attend the service, where the speaker will be Mark Oliver, a former farmer and now a pastor.

An offertory will be taken to defray expenses and for The Farming Community Network.

Refreshments will be served after the service.
