THE 2nd Crediton Rainbows re-opened in September 2021 with a group of girls all new to Guiding.

They have spent the last two terms completing the “Know Myself Theme” and finding out things about themselves and each other.

They have also learnt about Guiding across the world and where they fit within the UK Guiding family.

Caroline Isaac, Brown Owl, explained: “The Rainbows have played games, created an imaginary garden, made puppets and created edible treats.

“A total of 20 girls have completed the Reflect Skillsbuilder Badge and 16 of those have also gained the Know Myself Theme Award.

“To gain this award each girl has completed an interest badge, 120 minutes of Unit Meeting Activities and a Skillsbuilder badge.

“They have all worked very hard to achieve this and should be really proud of themselves.”

The 2nd Crediton Rainbows meet on a Sunday morning at the Guide Hut on Lords Meadow in Crediton.

Caroline added: “We are always happy to have more helpers to assist with the units.”
