No performance of Jesus Christ Superstar would be complete without a powerhouse band - and QE Theatre Academy’s musicians delivered beyond all expectations.

Lead guitarist Sam Borthen took a starring role, performing flawless guitar solos live onstage alongside the cast, adding thrilling musical intensity to the production.

Under the expert direction of Lucy Welsman, the band - made up of both talented students and seasoned musicians - brought Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic rock score to life with passion, precision, and electrifying energy.
