TWO Crediton women who have long been familiar sights as "Lollipop Ladies" at the pedestrian crossing near Hayward's School have retired.
Jean May MBE and her colleague Ann Hosker each received a large bouquet of flowers from the vice chairman of Devon County Council, Trevor Pennington, in recognition of their service.
The presentations were made at a ceremony at Larkbeare House, Exeter, when long service awards and certificates were received by 26 patrols and two administrators.
