CHERITON Retired Active Gentlemen (CRAG) meet once a month to walk together and share a meal (and a pint).

This month, they were walking in the Bampton Area when they remembered that Jan Thom, a much-loved village character, and widow of one of the founder members, David, lived in the Court Care Home.

Imagine the faces of the other residents and staff as 11 men clumped up the stairs (thankfully leaving their muddy boots behind).
